Privacy Policy

Wheeling Tire (doing business as Wheeling Tire, "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit https://www.wheelingtire.com/ (the "Site") or contact us, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have.

Effective date / Last updated: June 29, 2026

This Policy applies to the Site and to related interactions such as phone calls, text messages, online tire shopping, and service appointment requests. We are a United States business and intend the Site for users located in the United States. Your use of the Site is also governed by our Terms of Use (https://www.wheelingtire.com/terms/terms-of-service).

1. About our website and the services that power it

Our Site and several of the tools on it are provided by third-party technology partners. We remain responsible for the personal information collected through our Site, but you should know that:

  • Our Site and its features are powered by TireTutor, our website and software platform provider. Depending on our package and the features enabled on this Site, TireTutor may provide our website, online quoting, scheduling, point-of-sale, payments, messaging, call handling and call recording, online tire and wheel/fitment tools, and similar services. TireTutor processes information on our behalf as our service provider. TireTutor's own practices are described in the TireTutor Privacy Policy (https://tiretutor.com/privacy-policy) and TireTutor Terms of Use (https://tiretutor.com/terms-of-use).
  • Where online tire shopping is offered on our Site, it may be provided through TIRESanytime®, an application from U.S. AutoForce. If you search for or order tires through this feature, information such as your vehicle, the tires selected, and your contact and order details may be processed by U.S. AutoForce to fulfill your request. See the TIRESanytime / U.S. AutoForce Privacy Policy ([INSERT TIRESANYTIME / US AUTOFORCE PRIVACY POLICY URL]).
  • Where service or repair appointment booking is offered on our Site, it may be provided through RepairAnytime, an application from U.S. AutoForce. If you submit a request to book service, that information may be processed by U.S. AutoForce. See the RepairAnytime / U.S. AutoForce Privacy Policy ([INSERT REPAIRANYTIME / US AUTOFORCE PRIVACY POLICY URL]).

These partners maintain their own privacy policies and terms. We encourage you to review them, because their practices are governed by those documents, not this one.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the Site, we may collect the following categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers and contact information — name, email address, phone number, postal/ZIP code, and similar identifiers.
  • Vehicle information — make, model, year, VIN, license plate, tire size, or DOT number you provide to get a quote, shop for tires, or request service.
  • Commercial information — products and services viewed, quotes requested, appointments booked, orders placed, and purchase history.
  • Payment information — payment card details are collected and processed by our third-party payment processor.
  • Internet and device activity — IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, links clicked, and how you interact with the Site, collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Audio and communications — the content of messages you send us and, where applicable, recordings of phone calls and related call metadata such as the number you called from and the marketing source of your call (see Section 6).
  • Geolocation — approximate location derived from your IP address or ZIP code to show nearby inventory or store information.
  • Inferences — preferences or characteristics drawn from the above (for example, the tires or services likely to interest you).

We collect this information directly from you (forms, calls, chats, purchases), automatically as you use the Site, and from our service providers and partners (such as TireTutor and U.S. AutoForce applications). We do not seek to collect sensitive personal information (such as government-issued identifiers or precise geolocation) beyond what is described in this Policy. If our business needs to collect additional categories of information, we will update this Policy accordingly.

3. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • provide quotes, sell tires and products, and schedule and perform service;
  • process orders, payments, and returns;
  • respond to your calls, texts, chats, and inquiries;
  • operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site and our services;
  • send you transactional messages and, where permitted, marketing communications;
  • follow up with you about quotes, appointments, inquiries, or items you showed interest in — including by phone, text, or email where permitted;
  • market and remarket our products and services to you, including building marketing audiences and showing you relevant ads on other websites, apps, and platforms (such as social media and search), where permitted;
  • detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues; and
  • comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms.

4. Cookies, analytics, and advertising

We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, tags, software development kits, and similar tracking technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, measure performance, and—where applicable—support advertising and remarketing. Where they are active on our Site, these may include analytics and advertising technologies such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, the Meta (Facebook) pixel, Microsoft Clarity, and call-tracking tools.

You can usually control cookies through your browser settings. Some browsers and browser extensions also offer a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal — a setting you turn on once that automatically tells the websites you visit that you want to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information and of targeted advertising, without having to submit a separate request to each site. We honor GPC as a valid opt-out request where required by law. Because there is not yet a single, industry-standard way of describing or implementing the GPC signal, the way it is labeled and processed may differ from one website to another and may change as legal guidance develops.

Some tools may record your interactions with the Site (such as mouse movements, clicks, scrolling, and text entered into chat) to help us understand and improve the user experience. Where required, we seek your consent for these technologies through our cookie/consent settings. Please do not enter information you consider sensitive into chat or free-text fields.

5. How we share and disclose information

We share personal information only as described below. Depending on the advertising and analytics technologies used on the Site, some of this sharing may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under certain state privacy laws. You can opt out as described in Section 8.

We may disclose information to:

  • Service providers and platform partners who act on our behalf, including TireTutor (website, POS, payments, messaging, and call handling/recording) and our payment processor;
  • U.S. AutoForce applications (TIRESanytime / RepairAnytime) to fulfill tire orders or service requests you initiate;
  • Analytics, advertising, and call-tracking providers, as described in Sections 4 and 6, including to build marketing audiences and to deliver ads to you or to similar audiences on other websites and platforms;
  • Professional advisors and authorities when required to comply with law, respond to legal process, or protect our rights, customers, or the public; and
  • A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

6. Calls, recordings, and call tracking

When you call us, your call may be recorded, monitored, and analyzed for quality, training, scheduling, recordkeeping, and marketing analytics. Where a call-tracking service is used, recording and analysis may be performed by a third-party call-tracking and analytics service (such as CallRail). These services may use "dynamic number insertion" to display different phone numbers on the Site and to link your website visit and its marketing source to your phone call. See the provider's privacy policy ([INSERT CALL-TRACKING PROVIDER PRIVACY POLICY URL]).

Where required, we provide notice that calls may be recorded, and continuing the call after that notice indicates your consent to the recording and analysis described above. If you do not consent, you may end the call and reach us by another method listed in Section 14.

7. Text messages and email (TCPA / CAN-SPAM)

If you provide your mobile number and opt in, we may send you text messages about quotes, appointments, orders, or promotions. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent to marketing texts is not a condition of any purchase.

We send marketing emails, and every marketing message includes an unsubscribe link. You will continue to receive transactional messages (such as order or appointment confirmations) as needed to provide our services.

8. Your privacy rights

8.1 California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know / access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclose it;
  • Delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions;
  • Correct inaccurate personal information;
  • Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information and of targeted advertising;
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information, where we use it for purposes that trigger this right; and
  • Non-discrimination for exercising your rights.

How to exercise these rights.
Submit a request through [PRIVACY REQUEST INTAKE URL/FORM], by emailing Hello@WheelingTire.com, or by calling 304 232 2490. To opt out of sale/sharing and targeted advertising, use the "Your Privacy Choices" link in our Site footer or enable a Global Privacy Control signal in your browser. We will verify your request using the information we have about you. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization. If we decline a request, you may appeal by contacting us at Hello@WheelingTire.com.

California's "Shine the Light" law lets California residents request information about our disclosures of personal information to third parties for those third parties' own direct marketing. To make such a request, contact us at Hello@WheelingTire.com.

8.2 Residents of other U.S. states

Depending on your state of residence (including, for example, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of your personal information; to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or certain profiling; and to appeal a denial of your request. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the methods in Section 8.1. We respond within the time period required by applicable law and provide an appeal mechanism where required.

8.3 How we handle requests

We respond to verified rights requests within the time period required by applicable law. We do not charge a fee unless a request is excessive or unfounded, as permitted by law.

9. Children's privacy (COPPA)

Our Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it. We do not knowingly "sell" or "share" the personal information of consumers under 16, consistent with applicable law. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, contact us at Hello@WheelingTire.com and we will delete it.

10. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, to provide our services, and to meet legal, tax, accounting, and recordkeeping requirements, after which we delete or de-identify it.

11. Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Third-party links

Our Site may link to third-party websites or services we do not control. This Policy does not apply to those sites, and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Please review their policies directly.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where required, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
